Bio

Coach Sarah Maulorico, who is entering her sixth season on the staff in 2015, grew up in Alta Loma, CA. Upon graduating high school, Sarah entered her freshman year at the University of Southern Mississippi. In the 1998-1999 season, the first year for the school’s softball program, USM won the Southern Regional and a bid to the Women’s College World Series.

After playing at USM, Maulorico went on to play at the University of New Mexico from 1999 to 2000 and the Mississippi University for Women from 2002-2003, where she was a DII All-Region and All-American catcher. After graduating from MUW in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in political science, Maulorico went on to coach at Henderson State University as a Graduate Assistant in 2004, Western Christian High School in Covina, CA where she was the head Varsity softball coach and US History teacher from 2006-2009 and was the head coach of Skip Matulik’s 18U Sudden Impact travel ball team 2008-2009.

Maulorico is presently working towards her Masters of Education and PA teaching certificate through the University of Missouri and Moravian College.
