BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey squad is set to open the 2018 season on Friday, August 31 with a non-conference match under the lights at DeSales University.
The Greyhounds begin their home schedule on Sunday, September 2 versus Ramapo College of New Jersey at 12:00 pm. on John Makuvek Field. The Hounds head back on the road for another Friday night match at William Paterson (N.J.) University on September 7 before back-to-back home matches with Cedar Crest College on September 10 and Delaware Valley University on September 12.
Moravian travels to Bryn Athyn College on September 15 and then hosts Wilkes University under the lights at Makuvek Field on September 19. The Blue and Grey open the 2018 Landmark Conference season on Saturday, September 22 when Juniata College comes to Bethlehem. The Hounds finish out the month of September on the road with contests at Bryn Mawr College on September 26 and Susquehanna University on September 29.
The Greyhounds start October on the road as well with Landmark Conference contests at The University of Scranton on October 6 and at Elizabethtown College on October 13. Moravian is slated to host Drew University on October 13 before its final road trip of the year which includes stops at rival Muhlenberg College on October 16 and The Catholic University of America on October 20. The Hounds finish the regular season with a pair of home contests versus Marywood University on October 23 and Goucher College on October 27.
Moravian looks to qualify for the 2018 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins with the semifinals on Wednesday, October 31 and the finals slated for Saturday, November 3 at the highest remaining seeds' home field.
