Why did you choose Moravian College?
I had actually never heard of Moravian until Coach Bryne contacted me about playing here. Once I came to the campus I absolutely fell in love with Moravian and its tight knit community.

What is your major and why?
My major is business management. I chose this because I didn't necessarily know what I saw my self doing in the future and a business degree can lead to various different occupations.

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
My favorite course at Moravian was Mindfulness in Sport with Dr. Desiderio. This is because we got to work directly with the athletic department coming up with a new name for the student section along with the slogan "When you call one hound... the whole pack comes running." This class also taught me how to be a better leader and a better teammate which I will use not only on the field but also in the work environment.

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
I am unsure about my plans for the future, but whatever I end up doing I hope to be successful.

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
I have a few most memorable moments as a greyhound. Beating the single season double record and a game winning grand-slam at regionals are definitely within the top 5 most memorable moments, but the best moments I have had as a greyhound so far are two the conference championship titles and our regional championship title I get to share with my teammates.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being an athlete has really helped me in the classroom with managing my time due to the juggling school work, class, practice, and games.

What is the hardest part of your sport?
The hardest part of my sport for me is, staying out of my head. I have to remind myself that softball is a game of failure and even the best athletes fail approximately 7 out of 10 times when they are in the batters box.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
I wear number 43 because when I was little I was asked to play up with an  older team for a tournament. A girl on that team was number 13 which was the same number I was... so we had to tape my 1 into a number 4 and the number 43 has stuck with me ever since.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?
Community service is important to my role as a student-athlete because we are giving back to the community that supports our program. Also, being able to help someone who is less fortunate than you are brings a great sense of fulfillment and joy when you see the smile on their faces.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
Remember that you are always representing Moravian by your actions on and off your playing field. Also, remember that it is an honor to play a collegiate sport while wearing those letters across you chest.
