The Moravian College Sports Medicine Department and St. Luke’s University Health Network are partnered to deliver athletic training and orthopedic services for our Moravian College student-athletes. Our Athletics Trainers are board-certified to provide services such as injury prevention, management of athletic injuries, emergency care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. In addition, whenever possible, the department will strive to integrate education about athletic injuries so that student-athletes can be empowered to lead healthier lives. The Sports Medicine Department is compliant with the standards of practice through as outlined and mandated by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Board of Certification Code of Professional Practice. Members of the Sports Medicine Department are credentialed, licensed, and in compliance will all statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, along with current NCAA policies and procedures.

The Moravian College Sports Medicine Department strives to provide every student-athlete with the most comprehensive, highest quality individual sports medicine health care available in a professional, efficient, compassionate and service-oriented manner. The Sports Medicine Department will provide the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries as well as striving to educate student-athletes on prevention techniques. The Sports Medicine Department will use the best evidence available as well as NCAA best practices to provide the highest quality of healthcare given the resources and technology available at Moravian College.
