Why did you choose Moravian College?
Bethlehem is a really pretty city and it's close to home.
Also, Mike Lawryk is an excellent pole vault coach.
What is your major and why?
Nursing because I want to help people and I have an in
women's health.
What has been your favorite course at Moravian and
why?
Pathophysiology with Dr. Specht because it was challenging
and interesting to learn about the disease processes.
Also, I learned more in this class than any other science
course I have taken at Moravian.
What are your plans for the future once you finish your
degree at Moravian?
I look forward to going into the Navy as a nurse
and eventually go back to school to become a nurse
practitioner.
What is your most memorable moment as a
Greyhound?
Qualifying for the NCAA Division III nationals at outdoor
conferences last spring.
How has being an athlete helped you as a student?
It keeps you in good physical condition and allows
you to focus on something besides schoolwork. You also meet a lot
of people being involved in sports.
What is the hardest part of your sport?
Track includes many events so it is difficult to watch and
support your teammates when you are competing at the same time in
separate events.
What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian
College student-athlete?
