BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College honored its 2017 senior student-athletes at the annual Senior Athletics Awards Banquet Wednesday night in Johnston Hall. Women’s basketball standout Camille McPherson was named the Outstanding Senior Female Athlete while football player Chris Negron was honored with the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete award.

IRVING, Texas --- Two senior Moravian football players seniors defensive back Chris Lott and wide receiver Jalen Snyder-Scipio have been named to the 2017 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society for their excellence in academics. The duo gives Moravian a total of 41 NFF Hampshire Honor Society members in 11 years.

LANCASTER, Pa. --- The Moravian College football team has had five players selected to the 2016 Centennial All-Conference Teams with seniors linebacker Edward Delia, running back Chris Negron and defensive lineman John Snyder earning spots on the First Team and junior wide receiver Aaron Hudson and senior defensive back Noah Miller named to the Second Team.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Junior wide receiver Kyle Ferryman caught a pair of touchdown passes while sophomore linebacker Steve Ewald made 12 tackles and was named Moravian College’s Most Valuable Player of the game but it wasn’t enough as the Greyhounds fell to rival Muhlenberg College, 31-12, in Centennial Conference action on the final day of the regular season at Rocco Calvo Field.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Meagan Hennessy '06; Chris Jacoubs '06; Henry Nehilla '67; Brandon Zaleski '05 and Scot Dapp made up the class of 2016 that was inducted into the Moravian College Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, November 11 in Johnston Hall. The 2005 football and 2005 softball teams were also inducted while Amy Greiner Hawley ’76 received the Robert Martin Herbstman Award.
