Moravian Announces 2019 Hall of Fame Inductees, Teams and Robert Martin Herbstman Award

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Maria DeBonis Braxmeier ’09; Tracy Fitzpatrick Franklin ’09; Jeff Pukszyn ’97; Jason Toedter ’04 and Nathaniel Tussey ’08 make up the class of 2019 that will be inducted into the Moravian College Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, October 11 in Johnston Hall. The 2005 women’s soccer and 2007 softball teams will also be inducted that night while Gene Medei ’61 will receive the Robert Martin Herbstman Award.

Moravian Honors Senior Student-Athletes at Annual Awards Banquet in Johnston Hall

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College honored its 2019 senior student-athletes at the annual Senior Athletics Awards Banquet Wednesday night in Johnston Hall. Softball standout Kat Spilman was named the Outstanding Senior Female Athletes while men’s basketball player Oneil Holder was honored with the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete award. The Blue & Grey Scholar Athlete awards were presented to women’s soccer student-athlete Paige Kovacs and football player Nick Zambelli. The H.T.D. Gillespie Award for outstanding service to Moravian’s athletics program was presented to Terry Eddinger and Marty Jo Moyle.

Former Greyhound Coach Scot Dapp Selected to MAC Hall of Fame

ANNVILLE, Pa. --- Former Moravian College Head Football Coach and Director of Athletics Scot Dapp has been selected as part of the eighth class to be inducted into the Middle Atlantic Conference Hall of Fame announced by the MAC office Tuesday.
