Nine Hounds Named to 2019 Landmark Conference Spring All-Sportsmanship Team

TOWSON, Md. --- The Landmark Conference has named 74 student-athletes including nine from Moravian College to the 2019 Spring All-Sportsmanship Team. The All-Sportsmanship Team includes one student-athlete from each institution for each sport and is selected by the players and coaches from their respective team.

Moravian Honors Senior Student-Athletes at Annual Awards Banquet in Johnston Hall

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College honored its 2019 senior student-athletes at the annual Senior Athletics Awards Banquet Wednesday night in Johnston Hall. Softball standout Kat Spilman was named the Outstanding Senior Female Athletes while men’s basketball player Oneil Holder was honored with the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete award. The Blue & Grey Scholar Athlete awards were presented to women’s soccer student-athlete Paige Kovacs and football player Nick Zambelli. The H.T.D. Gillespie Award for outstanding service to Moravian’s athletics program was presented to Terry Eddinger and Marty Jo Moyle.

Five Greyhounds Named Landmark Women's Lacrosse All-Conference; Bill Selected as Player of the Year

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College junior attack Liz Bill has been selected as the 2019 Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team while senior attack Jillian Picciuto, sophomore attack Meaghan McMullan, sophomore defender Olivia Clearie and freshman midfielder Lindsey Strohl were named to the All-Conference Second Team.
