Jason Ugwu joined the Moravian football staff as an Assistant Coach for the defensive line in March 2023.

- Played football at Wilkes for four seasons. Three-time All-MAC defensive end for the Colonels with 152 tackles, 39 tackles for loss and 14 sacks in his career as a four-year starter.
