BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College Head Women’s Basketball Coach Mary Beth Spirk, along with Assistant Coach Amy Endler ’93, sophomore guard Morgan Calabrese ’17 and Phillipsburg High School Girls Basketball Coach Nicole Savino ’06 participated in the #Chillin4Charity cold water challenge in front of Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse Thursday.

Women’s basketball standout Katie O’Rourke was named the Outstanding Senior Female Athlete while men’s track & field All-American Kristopher Joint was honored with the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete award. The Blue & Grey Scholar Athlete awards were presented to women’s basketball student-athlete Laura Jordan and football player Julian DiGiacomo. The H.T.D. Gillespie Award for outstanding service to Moravian’s athletics program was presented to Tom Keim ’49.
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- Seniors Kelly Brown and Katie O’Rourke along with long-time coach and physical education instructor Dawn Ketterman-Benner were honored with awards at the 2014 Lehigh Valley Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Annual Awards luncheon at DeSales University Tuesday.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- The National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) announced today its 2014 Administrator of Tomorrow and Judith M. Sweet Commitment award recipients. Julia Martin (University of Pennsylvania), Kaylyn Smith (Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts) and Sara Steinman (Moravian College) were named Administrator of Tomorrow Award winners, and Katherine (Katie) McGann (University of California, San Diego) was honored with the Judith M. Sweet Commitment Award.
