INDINAPOLIS, Ind. – Sophomore goalie Andrea Eck (Catasauqua, PA/Catasauqua) is ranked in the latest NCAA field hockey statistics released on Tuesday. Eck is ranked 33rd in the country with a 1.57 goals against average.
Eck started all 17 games this season for the Greyhounds while logging 1,156 minutes. She made 89 saves, good for a .774 save percentage. She also had nine wins (second most in a single season) and four shutouts (fifth most in a single season).
As a team, Moravian is ranked 21st in shutouts per game with 0.35, 33rd in goals against average at 1.50 and 41st in save percentage at .790.
The Greyhounds finished their season 9-8 overall, which is the second most wins in program history.
