Moravian Field Hockey Set to Start 2026 Campaign & Mullen Era on September 2
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University field hockey team is slated to begin the 2026 season on Wednesday, September 2 with a non-conference match at Eastern University.

The Greyhounds continues a season-opening four-match road trip with contests at Muhlenberg College on Saturday, September 5, Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday, September 9 and William Paterson University on Saturday, September 12. The Blue & Grey will play their first home contest of the season and the home debut for first-year Head Coach Morgan Mullen on Wednesday, September 16 in a non-conference match versus Penn State Harrisburg under the lights on John Makuvek Field before a road contest at Lancaster Bible College on Saturday, September 19.
Moravian returns home for a four-match homestand beginning on Wednesday, September 23 versus DeSales University before the Hounds start the 2026 Landmark Conference season on Saturday, September 26 versus Juniata College, which is also scheduled to be Senior Day. The homestand continues with the final non-conference match of the season versus Cedar Crest College on Wednesday, September 30 and a Landmark Conference contest versus The Catholic University of America on Saturday, October 3.
The Hounds will play four of the remaining seven Landmark Conference contests on the road starting at Drew University on Tuesday, October 6. The squad travels to Lycoming College on Saturday, October 20 hosting The University of Scranton on Tuesday, October 13. The Blue & Grey head to Susquehanna University on Saturday, October 17 then host Goucher College on Tuesday, October 20 and Wilkes University on Saturday, October 24 before finishing the regular season on Tuesday, October 27 in a road match at Elizabethtown College.
The Greyhounds aim to qualify for the 2026 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins with the first-round matches Saturday, October 31 as the third and fourth seeds host the fifth and sixth seeds. The semifinals are set for Tuesday, November 3 at the top two seeds and the championship match is slated for Saturday, November 7 at the highest remaining seeds' home field.
