How It Happened

The Greyhounds' squad had a team score of 297 to finish in fourth place, just one stroke behind third place
Gettysburg College totaled a low team score of 286 to claim first place, while a pair of Franklin & Marshall teams finished second and third
This is the second time this fall that the Greyhounds have posted a sub-300 team score

Moravian Results

Graduate student Thomas Lakata led the field of 75 golfers, turning in a two-under 69 on the par 71 course, which earned himself medalist honors on a tiebreaker on the fourth playoff hole. Lakata carded the first 69 since Tyler Smith '17, who also posted that score at the F&M Invitational in 2016. Lakata recorded four birdies and two bogeys in his best round during his tenure with the Blue and Grey
Freshman TJ Bohl shot a 73 to finish two over par. Bohl turned in a career-best card with five birdies and seven pars to finish tied for 11th
Finishing tied for 21st was junior Andrew Hozza after shooting a 76 with three birdies and nine pars
Graduate student Nick Kuhn rounded out the scorers for the Blue & Grey after finishing with a 79. Kuhn finished tied for 33rd after recording 11 pars and one birdie
Freshman Jason Koch carded an 83 to be tied for 55th after making eight pars

"I am very proud of how the guys played today," commented Head Golf Coach Kevin Edwards. "It was a very strong field and was a tough weather day with the wind. To shoot another sub-300 round shows how balanced we are this year."
