Moravian Men's Lacrosse Starts 2021 Season on March 15 at Gwynedd Mercy
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men’s lacrosse squad is slated to start its 2021 season on Monday, March 15 when the Hounds travel to Gwynedd Mercy University for a non-conference contest beginning at 4:00 p.m.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's lacrosse squad is slated to start its 2021 season on Monday, March 15 when the Hounds travel to Gwynedd Mercy University for a non-conference contest beginning at 4:00 p.m.
The Greyhounds have a pair of non-conference matches scheduled for the season and a total of eight Landmark Conference contests to help the schools play as many games as possible due to the pandemic. Moravian will be video streaming all home games at https://landmarknetwork.tv/moravian/ and most of the road conference games will be available at https://landmarknetwork.tv.
Head Coach Dave Carty enters his sixth season with 24 returning players. Carty is the reigning Landmark Conference Coach of the Year. Leading the group of returnees are senior long stick midfielder Jimmy Schicke and senior defender Tanner Leslie, who were both named to the Landmark All-Conference First Team in 2019. Schicke also made the All-Conference First Team in 2017 and was a Second Team honoree in 2018.
As a reminder, in accordance with Landmark Conference policy, no fans will be allowed at any Landmark Conference school for sporting events until further notice. The Landmark Conference and Moravian College will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any changes to the spectator policy on our website and through social media.
