MADISON, N.J. --- The Landmark Conference has recognized 310 student-athletes including 37 from Moravian College by selecting them for the 2012 Spring Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. The honorees were selected from all eight Landmark Conference institutions.

TOWSON, Md. --- Seniors Timothy Layng, Abigail Schaffer and Gary Zack of the Moravian College track & field teams have been named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America® NCAA Division III Women’s & Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country First Teams selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Seniors Abigail Schaffer, Timothy Layng and Gary Zack of the Moravian College track & field teams have been named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-District IV NCAA Division III Women’s & Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country First Teams selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
CLAREMONT, Calif. --- Senior Gary Zack earned All-America honors for a second straight year while senior Timothy Layng was an All-American in the pole vault for the second time this season to lead the Moravian College men’s outdoor track & field team on the final day of the 2012 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championship hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges at Fritz B. NEW ORLEANS, La. --- Senior pole vaulter Abby Schaffer of the Moravian College outdoor track & field team has been named the 2012 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III Mideast Region Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year while senior javelin thrower Gary Zack has earned Male Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year honors and javelin coach Bob Luciano earned Male Assistant Coach of the Year accolades announced late Friday.

TROY, N.Y. --- Freshman Dillon Farrell won the 10,000-meter run in the last event of the day to lead the Moravian College men’s track & field team on the first day of the 2012 ECAC Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Thursday.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Moravian has qualified 18 student-athletes, ten females and eight males, to compete at the 2012 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. on Thursday and Friday, May 17th and 18th.
NEW ORLEANS, La. --- The Moravian College men's & women's track & field teams are both ranked in the Mideast Region in the seventh NCAA Division III Regional Team Index of the 2012 outdoor season released by the U S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Wednesday with the Moravian men rank third in the region while the women moved up to fourth.
SWARTHMORE, Pa. --- Sophomore Kristopher Joint and junior Travis King of the Moravian College men's outdoor track & field team each set career bests in the triple jump to move closer to qualifying for the NCAA Division III Championships Monday evening at the Tuppeny Twilight Last Chance Meet hosted by Swarthmore College.
