MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Moravian College senior offensive lineman Brett Poling has been selected to the 2019 D3football.com All-South Region Third Team.
Poling, the Greyhounds starting center for the last three seasons, was named to the Centennial All-Conference Second Team this fall after being on the Honorable Mention Squad in 2017 and 2018. Poling helped the Greyhounds post a 4-6 overall record this season, and the Blue and Grey finished with a 4-5 mark in the Centennial Conference regular season. The Centennial Conference had a total of 13 D3football.com All-Region selections.
Poling began his Moravian career as the Hounds' starting right tackle in 2016, and he has been one of the team's captains the last two seasons. This fall, Poling helped Moravian's offense average 286.1 yards per game this season including 101.1 rushing yards per contest.
"What a great accomplishment this recognition is for Brett," stated Head Coach Jeff Pukszyn. "This is a well-deserved award that exemplifies Brett's hard work not only this year but for the past four years. His off-season commitment and leadership both on and off the field were outstanding for us."
