Field Hockey to Host DeSales on September 2 to Begin 2017 Slate
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey team is set to open its 2017 season and the head coaching era of Kristen Gillis when the Greyhounds host DeSales University in a non-conference match beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Rocco Calvo Field.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey team is set to open its 2017 season and the head coaching era of Kristen Gillis when the Greyhounds host DeSales University in a non-conference match beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Rocco Calvo Field.
Gillis enters her first season leading the Hounds program with ten returning players and 13 incoming freshman that are excited to get into action. The match with the Bulldogs starts a stretch of seven non-conference contests to begin the year. The Blue and Grey named junior midfielder Elizabeth Hrehovcik, sophomore forward Sara Cruz and sophomore forward Elisa Silecchia as its captains for the 2017 season.
