Schultz Named to Empire 8 Conference Spring President's List
ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- Junior Eric Schultz of the Moravian College men's golf team has been named to the Empire 8 Athletic Conference 2013 Spring President’s List as the Empire 8 honored more than 670 student-athletes for their contributions on the field and their excellence in the classroom.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- Junior Eric Schultz of the Moravian College men's golf team has been named to the Empire 8 Athletic Conference 2013 Spring President's List as the Empire 8 honored more than 670 student-athletes for their contributions on the field and their excellence in the classroom.
Schultz competed in 14 of Moravian's 15 rounds in 2012-13, and he finished 39th in the four-round Empire 8 championship. In the classroom, Schultz is majoring in business management at Moravian.
Recipients of this honor must earn a 3.75 grade point average or higher during the semester while participating in a conference-sponsored sport.
In addition, the student-athlete must display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution. The conference states, "Its commitment to serve the educational needs of its student-athletes is the hallmark of the Empire 8."
The Empire 8 recognized an impressive 672 student-athletes from its sponsored sports with the President's List distinction.
Additionally, 92 teams were acknowledged as an Empire 8 All-Academic Team for registering a team grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the spring semester.
