TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior goalie Casey Prajzner has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men’s Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior goalie Casey Prajzner has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Prajzner registered seven saves in the Greyhounds' 1-1 draw with The Catholic University of America to begin the 2024 Landmark Conference season. The match was just Prajzner's third career start, and his seven saves are a career high.
"Congratulations to Casey for being named Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Week," commented Head Coach Bob Wilkinson. "We are very happy to hear this. He worked very hard this summer to get ready for this season and the hard work has paid off. He played really well against Catholic and has played well all season."
Moravian will to return to action on Monday, September 30 when the team travels to Gwynedd Mercy University for a non-conference match beginning at 4:00 p.m.
