Hounds Hold Off Penn State Abington for Non-Conference Win

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s soccer squad scored a pair of goals in less than a minute and then held off Penn State Abington, 2-1, in non-conference action Saturday on John Makuvek Field.

  • The Hounds broke the stalemate in the 60th minute when senior defender Cole Stevens put a shot into the goal off a loose ball in the 18-yard box
  • Just 39 seconds later, senior forward Ben Scary extended the advantage to 2-0 as he put in a crossing pass from senior midfielder Hunter Shay
  • The Lions cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 76th minute with a goal
