Joint Breaks School Record in Triple Jump at Princeton
Princeton, N.J. --- Junior Kristopher Joint broke the school and Landmark Conference records in the triple jump with a leap of 14.91 meters (48 feet, 11 inches) to lead the Moravian College men's indoor track & field team at the non-scoring Princeton University Invitational Saturday.

Joint was second in the event with his ECAC qualifying distance, and the record-breaking mark improved his standing to fourth in the nation in the event on the Track & Field Results Reporting System national list. The top 16 individuals and top 12 relay teams on the list as of March 3rd will earn berths to the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championship meet on March 8th & 9th at North Central (Ill.) College.
Joint was also third in the long jump with an ECAC qualifying mark and career best leap of 7.20 meters (23 feet, 7 1/2 inches), which is tied for fifth on the TFRRS list. Senior Travis King also turned in an ECAC qualifying mark in the triple jump as he placed fourth at 13.94 meters (45 feet, nine inches) while freshman Jason Fuehring placed seventh in the event at 12.93 meters (42 feet, 5 1/4 inches).
Sophomore Dillon Farrell finished fifth in the mile run with a time of 4:25.04 while freshman Albert Myers was tied for seventh in the 200-meter dash in 23.76 seconds. Freshman Chris Voda was eighth in the pole vault at a height of 4.00 meters (13 feet, 1 1/2 inches).
Moravian will return to action on Saturday, February 23rd as the squad looks to win its fifth Landmark Conference championship in the 2013 meet hosted by Susquehanna University starting at 10:00 a.m.
