Men's Cross Country Competes in Paul Short Run
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country team placed 25th of 33 teams in the College Men's Brown Race of the 39th Annual Paul Short Run Presented by Brooks Friday afternoon.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country team placed 25th of 33 teams in the College Men's Brown Race of the 39th Annual Paul Short Run Presented by Brooks at Lehigh University Friday afternoon.
The Greyhounds scored 639 points to finish 25th while The University of Pennsylvania won the race with 47 points. The Paul Short Run consists of four races, the Gold, Brown, White and Open, that cover the 8,000-meter course on Lehigh's Goodman Campus.
Sophomore Dillon Farrell led the Moravian individuals in the race, covering the 8K course in 25:47 which placed him 16th of 283 runners and the third NCAA Division III runner in the race. Senior Donnie Noble was 123rd for the Greyhounds in 27:13 while senior Dylan Marton took 138th in a time of 27:20. Rounding out the Moravian contingent was sophomore Alec Duncan in 170th place in 27:48, freshman Maxwell Korten in 268th in 31:01 and freshman Jeremy Rigotti in 278th in 32:28.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, October 6th at the Messiah College Invitational in Grantham.
