How It Happened
- The squads were scoreless through the first 45 minutes of action despite the Hounds holding a 13-3 advantage in shots
- The Greyhounds broke onto the scoreboard just over a minute and a half into the fourth quarter as senior forward Marianna Crisafulli scored off a pass from junior forward Gia Ambrosino on a penalty corner
- The Blue & Grey doubled the advantage two minutes later, this time with Ambrosino finding the cage off an assist from Crisafulli
Inside the Numbers
- Crisafulli's goal was the first of her career, and she earned her second assist of the fall and third of her career
- Ambrosino notched her team-leading ninth goal of 2024 and the 17th of her career as well as her second assist of the season and third of her career
- Sophomore goalie Maia Machado posted two saves for her third shutout of the fall and seventh of her career
- The Blue & Grey finished the contest with a 15-3 advantage in shots and
