Ten Greyhounds Named to 2025 NFHCA National Academic Squad; Trio Earns Scholar of Distinction
GILBERT, Ariz. --- Ten student-athletes from the Moravian University field hockey team have been selected to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Academic Squad sponsored by OPA Winning Teams while sophomore Sydney Sugra and freshmen Emily Davis and Madison Kosmark named as an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction.
GILBERT, Ariz. --- Ten student-athletes from the Moravian University field hockey team have been selected to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Academic Squad sponsored by OPA Winning Teams while sophomore Sydney Sugra and freshmen Emily Davis and Madison Kosmark named as an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction.
Sugra, Davis and Kosmark was joined on the National Academic Squad by seniors Megan Felmly and Jessica Knox and freshmen Ella Butz, Ta'Nya Cutler, Alana Dinsmore, Mackenzie Koger and Marissa Siu. To be named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average through the first semester of the 2024-25 academic year. Felmly is a four-year selection to the National Academic Squad.
Sugra, Davis and Kosmark earned Scholar of Distinction honors for the first time in their careers. The Scholar of Distinction is given to student-athletes that have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2025-25 academic year.
