CORTLAND, N.Y. --- The Moravian College track & field team finished in a tie for 18th at the 2019 All-Atlantic Region Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by SUNY Cortland after the second and final day of competition Thursday.
The Greyhounds scored a total of 15 points over the two-day meet. The Hounds recorded three points on Wednesday before scoring their other 12 points on Thursday in one event with junior Carly Danoski finishing as the runner-up in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:15.18, the tenth best time in school history. Freshman Natalie Stabilito ran a PR time of 2:17.58 in the race to place fifth. Danoski has a faster time in the event this season and sits at 15th on the Track & Field Results Reporting System list with the Top 22 females in each event as of the cut-off for times and distances Thuursday nigth at midnight heading to the 2019 NCAA Division III National Championships.
Senior Anna Osman finished 11th in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:05.31 in her final collegiate race while freshman Ally Lambert was a spot back in a time of 1:05.99. Sophomore Camaryn Wheeler took 19th in the 200-meter dash in a time of 27.09 seconds.
Moravian's lone competitor in the field events Friday was senior Jordan Luciano, who placed 17th in the long jump with a leap of 5.25 meters (17-2.75) in her final collegiate meet.
The Greyhounds will find out on Saturday the official list of qualifiers for the 2019 NCAA Division III National Championships being hosted by The University of Mount Union and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio beginning on Thursday, May 23.
