BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College is joining with schools across the country in celebration of NCAA Division III Week, which officially began on Monday and runs through Saturday, April 15th. This year’s inaugural event will celebrate student-athletes’ academic achievements and athletic accomplishments, in addition to their campus leadership and their involvement in community service.
The Moravian College women’s cross country teams has been named one of 187 teams that earned the 2011 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III All-Academic Cross Country status.

With the fall season now complete, a first-time leader has emerged as The Catholic University of America holds the top stop in the Landmark President’s All Sports Cup standings. Moravian is currently in fourth place.
Seniors Diana Feldmann, Matt Lutcza and Cadee Rockwell along with junior Nicholas Hurff from Moravian College have been named to the 2011 Landmark Conference Fall All-Academic Team.
The Moravian College women's cross country team finished in a tie for 14th of 47 teams at the 2011 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship hosted by DeSales University. The Greyhounds had a team score of 478 to tie with York College of Pennsylvania while Johns Hopkins University won the meet with a team total of 78. Dickinson College was second with a 99 while Elizabethtown College finished third with a team score of 108.
The Moravian College men and women’s cross country teams are ranked for the third straight week in the NCAA Division III regional rankings released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The women moved up to ninth from ten while the men stayed at ten in the Mideast Region.

The Moravian College women’s cross country teams captured its first Landmark Conference title at the 2011 meet hosted by the Greyhounds at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus under four inches of snow. Senior Cadee Rockwell, pictured, won the 6,000-meter race to earn Landmark Conference Runner of the Year honors, Landmark All-Conference First Team accolades and help the program win its first conference championship since 2002.
The 2011 Landmark Conference Cross Country Championships will be held on the Goodman Campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. in a meet hosted by Moravian College.

The Moravian College women’s cross country teams competed at the Leopard Invitational at Lafayette College Saturday afternoon. The women’s team finished ninth out of 12 teams.

The Moravian College women’s cross country team placed sixth of 41 teams at the DeSales University Invitational Saturday. The Greyhounds had a team score of 244 while Dickinson College was first at 70 points and Kutztown University of Pennsylvania was second with 98 points. Moravian was the top Landmark Conference team out of the five competing conference teams. The meet was run in two sections, red and blue, with the Greyhounds finishing third in the blue section.
