Women's Cross Country Wins Landmark Conference Championship
The Moravian College women’s cross country teams captured its first Landmark Conference title at the 2011 meet hosted by the Greyhounds at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus under four inches of snow. Senior Cadee Rockwell, pictured, won the 6,000-meter race to earn Landmark Conference Runner of the Year honors, Landmark All-Conference First Team accolades and help the program win its first conference championship since 2002.

Senior Cadee Rockwell, pictured, won the 6,000-meter race to earn Landmark Conference Runner of the Year honors, Landmark All-Conference First Team accolades and help the program win its first conference championship since 2002.
Senior Kristina Ruggiero finished in second place, and freshman Claire DelCasale took seventh place as both runners earned All-Conference First Team accolades. Freshman Emily Lambright placed 11th to garner All-Conference Second Team Honors while classmate Devon Bedell finished in 22nd place.
Freshman Jessie Goldberg took 26th place while senior Megan Hallowell finished in 30th. Junior Emma Pacheco took 34th in the race. Sophomore Jennifer Smilgis took 38th and classmate Jennifer Parodi finished in 40th. Freshman Alyssa Tallon took 50th while sophomore Amanda Smilgis took 54th.
The Greyhounds will run again on Saturday, November 12th at the 2011 NCAA Division III Mideast Region Championship at DeSales University. The race is scheduled for 11 a.m.
