Women's Cross Country Competes at Lehigh University Invitational
The Moravian College women's cross country squad opened the 2011 season with a ninth place finish at the 2011 Lehigh University Invitational run on the Goodman Campus of Lehigh University. The Greyhounds posted a team score of 204 points while the host Mountain Hawks won the meet with 36 points.

Senior Cadee Rockwell, pictured at right, paced Moravian with a time of 23:38.1 on the 6,000-meter course to place 20th overall of 89 runners. Freshman Claire DelCasale was 31st in a time of 24:13.9 in her first collegiate race while freshman Emily Lambright was 62nd in 25:45.1. Freshman Jessica Goldberg was one spot back in 63rd with a time of 25:47.4 while senior Megan Hallowell finished 73rd in 26:42.3.
Freshman Alyssa Tallon was 74th in her first collegiate race in 26:48.2 while sophomore Jennifer Parodi was 76th in 27:05.3. Rounding out the Moravian runners were freshman Devon Bedell in 80th place in 27:27.7, junior Emma Pacheco at 82nd in 27:49.4, sophomore Jennifer Smilgis at 86th in a time of 28:38.5 and sophomore Amanda Smilgis in 89th at 32.02.3.
