Kerchner Breaks School Record in Mile as Moravian Participates in Penn State Tune-Up
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s indoor track & field squad set one school record and had three All-Atlantic Region Track & Field qualifying marks at the Penn State University Tune Up Friday
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's indoor track & field squad set one school record and had three All-Atlantic Region Track & Field qualifying marks at the Penn State University Tune Up Friday.
School Record
- Junior Bryan Kerchner placed fifth in the mile run with an AARTFC qualifying and school record time of 4:15.88
Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- Senior Owen Nahf was the runner-up in the 3,000-meter championship run in an AARTFC qualifying time of 8:31.50, the second fastest time in program history
- Graduate student Jeremy Goll placed third in the shot put with a toss of 13.53 meters (44-4.75) while sophomore Anthony Morillo placed fifth at 12.36 meters (43.10)
- Sophomore Nate Moore took third in the 3,000-meter run in a time of 8:58.60 while sophomore Logan Betyeman was eighth in 9:14.47
- Sophomore Mael Tshiyonga finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdle finals in a time of 8.70 seconds, the same time that had him sixth in the preliminaries while junior Liam Maguire was tenth in the preliminaries in a time of 9.06 seconds
- Sophomore Jordan Gagner took fifth in the 800-meter run with an AARTFC qualifying and PR time of 1:55.85
- Goll was sixth in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 12.82 meters (42-0.75) while Morillo took eighth at 12.66 meters (41-6.5)
- Junior Jerome Luckey finished seventh in the high jump at a height of 1.90 meters (6-2.75)
