Moravian Ninth after First Day of 2025 AARTFC Championships with Stanchina Winning the 10K
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- The Moravian University men’s outdoor track & field squad is ninth of 30 teams recording points on the first day of the 2025 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships at Williams (Mass.) College with the Hounds scoring all 14 points in the 10K to end the first day of competition.

Event Champions
- Graduate student Cole Stanchina took first in the 10,000-meter run in a time of 30:57.42, the second fastest time in school history, to score ten points
Moravian Finishers
- Senior Nathan Hajel was fifth in the 10,000-meter run in a time of 31:36.62 to earn four points
- Freshman Marcus Morales took tenth in the javelin with a toss of 54.25 meters (178-0)
- Sophomore Anthony Morillo finished 12th in the discus with a toss of 44.18 meters (144-11) while freshman Julius Reyes placed 16th at 42.29 meters (138-9)
- The Greyhounds' 4x400-meter relay team of senior Trevor Gray, sophomore Jordan Gagner and freshman Delferson Contreras and Owen Smith took 13th in a time of 3:22.49
- Senior Jake Farrell finished 15th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 10:16.61 while sophomore Gavin Hefferan was 16th in 10:24.87
- Sophomore Nate Moore placed 16th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:34.76 while senior Owen Nahf took 17th in 15:44.07
Preliminary Results
- Moravian's 4x100-meter relay squad of Gray, seniors Jason Gartner and Owen Sabastro and junior Jacob Fenstermaker finished sixth in a time of 41.47 seconds, the fourth fastest in program history to advance to the finals on Thursday
- Fenstermaker also took 18th in the prelims of the 100-meter dash in 10.91 seconds while Gray placed 21st in 10.93 seconds
