Krasley & Savite Named AVCA Honorable Mention All-Americans

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Seniors libero Jesse Krasley (Allentown, Pa./Parkland HS) and right-side hitter Samantha Savite (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central HS) have been named 2012 American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Honorable Mention All-Americans for the second straight year.

Krasley, who has earned Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors the last two falls, and was named Landmark Conference Specialist of the Year and to the Landmark All-Conference First Team, owns every Moravian school record in digs including a career total of 2,502. This season, Krasley tallied a team-high 754 digs while ranking second on the team with 138 assists and 43 service aces.

Savite was also named to the Mid-Atlantic All-Region team the last two years while also garnering Landmark All-Conference Second Team honors this season. Savite had a team-best 419 kills this year while posting 163 digs, 76 blocks and 44 service aces.

The Greyhounds broke the school record with 29 wins and an overall mark of 29-9.  Moravian reached the semifinals of both the 2012 Landmark Conference and ECAC Division III South Tournaments.
