Prajzner, Propato & Teneza Named 2025 Moravian Men’s Soccer Captains
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s soccer squad has named senior goalie Casey Prajzner, junior midfielder Giuseppe Propato and junior defender Max Teneza as captains for the 2025 season.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer squad has named senior goalie Casey Prajzner, junior midfielder Giuseppe Propato and junior defender Max Teneza as captains for the 2025 season.
"We are excited to announce that senior Casey Prajzner, junior Giuseppe Propato and junior Max Teneza have been named captains for the 2025 Moravian University Men's Soccer Season," stated Head Coach Bob Wilkinson. "All three are excellent representatives of Moravian University and the Men's Soccer program. Casey, Giuseppe and Max embody what it means to be a student athlete. They are key pieces to what we are trying to accomplish both on and off the field. All three played major roles in helping us qualify for the Landmark Conference playoffs in 2023 and 2024. We look forward to their leadership and what they will accomplish this upcoming season."
Prajzner returns to anchor the Greyhounds in goal after being named as the 2024 Landmark Conference Co-Defensive Athlete of the Year and earning All-Conference First Team. Prajzner recorded 49 saves, six shutouts, a 0.65 goals-against average and a 6-3-3 mark in 1,115 minutes of action last fall in his first year as the Hounds' starting keeper.
Propato has seen action in 35 career matches with 29 starts, and he has two goals and five assists in his career with a goal and four assists last fall.
Teneza has played in 33 career matches with nine starts, and he has registered three assists in his career with a pair last fall. Teneza was a member of the Landmark Conference Fall Academic Roll in 2024.
Moravian is slated to begin the 2025 season on Friday, August 29th with a non-conference match versus Stevenson (Md.) in the Athey Cup at Washington (Md.) College with first touch at 1:00 p.m.
