KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- The Moravian University men's and women's soccer programs have been named as United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
The men's team, led by seventh-year Head Coach Bob Wilkinson, recorded a 3.41 grade-point average, while the women's squad, under the direction of 11th-year head coach Jeff Ykoruk, finished the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.60 GPA.
The Greyhound squads are part of a group of 697 soccer teams (283 men and 414 women) to post a team GPA of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award. Moravian is one of 151 schools to have both the men's and women's programs honored, and one of seven Landmark Conference schools with both teams recognized.
This is the eighth time that the Moravian women's soccer squad has garnered this accolade, most recently in 2023, going back to 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2021 and 2022. The men's program was honored for the third time in 2025 following awards in 2020 and 2023.
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
