Moravian Men’s Soccer Team to Compete in Athey Cup in Maryland to Begin 2025 Slate on August 29
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s soccer team opens the 2025 season on Friday, August 29 versus Stevenson (Md.) University at 1:00 p.m. in the opening day of the Athey Cup at Washington (Md.) College.

The Greyhounds were a 9-5-5 last year under eighth-year Head Coach Bob Wilkinson as the team competed in the Landmark Conference Tournament First Round. The Blue & Grey return 76 Hounds to the pitch with two graduate students and four seniors to go along with adding four first-year student-athletes and three transfers to the roster.
Moravian returns a pair of Landmark All-Conference honorees led by senior goalie Casey Prajzner, who was on the All-Conference First Team and the Landmark Conference Co- Defensive Athlete of the Year last fall. Junior defender Aidan McMillian was selected to the Landmark All-Conference Second Team for the second consecutive season, and he made the United Soccer Coaches All-Region V Fourth Team in 2024. Prajzner and the Hounds' defense had six shutouts a year ago, and the duo of McMillan and Prajzner allowed just 0.95 goals-against per match last fall.
The Greyhounds return four of their top five scorers from last year led by sophomore forward Joey Roth, who had four goals and three assists in his debut season. Senior midfielder Tyler King returns after netting four goals while junior midfielder Giuseppe Propato added a goal and four assists and junior midfielder Colin Woehlcke had a goal and three assists. Moravian has 15 players on the roster that picked up at least one point in 2024.
