Senior Kevin Holze Earns Conference Player of the Week Honors
MADISON, N.J. – Senior Kevin Holze of the Moravian College men's tennis team earned Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors for the week of April 23rd. This is the second time Holze was named the conference player of the week this season.
MADISON, N.J. – Senior Kevin Holze of the Moravian College men's tennis team earned Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors for the week of April 23rd. This is the second time Holze was named the conference player of the week this season.
Holze was unbeaten in singles and doubles action over three matches last week, including a Landmark win that clinched a postseason berth for the Greyhounds. He won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles and produced an 8-0 win at first doubles in the win over Goucher that secured a postseason spot. He also accounted for both the team's points in a loss to Wilkes, and then again did not drop a game in singles and doubles in a win over Neumann.
Holze is 10-2 in singles and double play this season. He currently holds the doubles record with 43 career wins while ranking second in singles with 50 career victories.
Moravian takes on Drew University on Wednesday, April 25th in the Landmark Conference semifinals. The match is set to begin at 4 p.m.
