Moravian Men Drop Close Match to Loras

KISSIMMEE, Fla. --- The Moravian University men’s tennis team dropped a 4-3 non-conference match to Loras (Iowa) College at Oak Street Park Tuesday evening on Spring Break in Florida.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds opened the contest with victories in two of the three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. Freshmen Cris Calfat Jabra and Enzo Guarda posted a 6-3 triumph at first doubles while junior Gavin Labbadia and sophomore Roman Farhad had a 7-5 win at second doubles
  • The Duhawks earned victories at first and sixth singles to move ahead 2-1 while Farhad won 6-3, 6-3 at second singles to even the contest. Loras posted a win at fifth singles before sophomore Joey Kelly tied the match again with a 7-5, 6-2 triumph at third singles. The Duhawks captured a three-set match at fourth singles to clinch the contest
