MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Moravian College senior guard Maddie Capuano has been honored on the 2020 D3hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team for the second consecutive winter.
Capuano was one of four team captains that helped lead the Greyhounds to a 15-11 overall record this year and an 8-6 mark in Landmark Conference action as the Hounds earned the fourth seed in the 2020 Landmark Conference Tournament, the Greyhounds' 19th straight and 30th overall postseason appearance under the guidance of Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk.
Capuano, who was selected to the Landmark All-Conference First Team for a third consecutive season, led Moravian in scoring for the second straight year at 19.0 points per game to go with 96 rebounds, 57 three-pointers, 50 assists and 35 steals while shooting 80 percent (104-of-130) from the foul line. Capuano completed her career ranked third in program history with 1,722 points, and she set the program record with 223 career three-pointers when she tied her own school mark of eight three-pointers in a game in the Landmark Semifinals to end her career.
Capuano, who was also the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year in 2016-17, also ranks fourth all-time in career scoring average at 16.4 points per game, sixth in field goals made with 542, fifth in three-point field goal percentage at 35.9 percent, third in free throws made with 415, tied for fourth in career free throw percentage at 83.2 percent and seventh in assists with 286 in 105 career games at Moravian.

"Maddie had a tremendous career, capped off with a great season this past year. She will go down in history as one of the best to wear the Moravian uniform."
