Moravian Men Rally in Singles to Top Wartburg (Iowa)
COCOA BEACH, Fla. --- The Moravian University men’s tennis team won four of six singles matches to post a 4-3 victory over Wartburg (Iowa) College Sunday at the Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach to begin the squad’s spring break trip.

How It Happened
- The Knights captured the second and third doubles matches to earn the point in doubles action. The Hounds' duo of seniors Wyatt Marshall and Ronny Pimentel Ferrer earned a 7-6 (10-8) win at third doubles
- Freshman Roman Farhad began singles with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at fourth singles to knot the score at 1-1 before sophomore Gavin Labbadia recorded a 6-4, 6-3 triumph at third singles to give the Hounds a 2-1 edge. Wartburg earned a point at second singles to even the match again at 2-2 before Marshall posted 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-4) at first singles to put the Blue & Grey back in front
- The Knights tied the contest again at 3-3 with a victory at sixth singles before freshman Joey Kelly won 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 at fifth singles to give the Greyhounds the winning team point
