Greyhounds Fall to Top Seed Goucher in Tight Match in Landmark Conference Semifinals
TOWSON, Md. --- The fourth seeded Moravian University men’s tennis squad fell to top seed Goucher College, 4-3, in the Landmark Conference Semifinals Thursday in a match played at the Twin Lakes Racquet Club.

How It Happened
- The Gophers opened the contest by winning at first and second doubles to clinch the doubles point. The third doubles match was left unfinished with the point giving Goucher a 1-0 lead
- Goucher made it 2-0 with a 6-0, 6-1 win at first singles while sophomore Gavin Labbadia scored the Greyhounds first point with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at third singles
- The Gophers stretched the edge to 3-1 with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at second singles. Moravian countered with two wins to even the score at 3-3. Freshman Roman Farhad captured a 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) victory at fourth in singles, and freshman Joey Kelly recorded a 6-2, 6-2 triumph at fifth singles
- The contest was decided at sixth singles with Goucher posting a 6-0, 7-6 (8-6) win
- It is the third straight spring that the Hounds had their season end in the Landmark Conference Semifinals, and the second time in three years that the Gophers have eliminated Moravian
