Moravian Tops Susquehanna in Landmark Conference Tournament First Round
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The fourth seeded Moravian University men’s tennis team defeated fifth seed Susquehanna University, 4-0, in a Landmark Conference Tournament First Round match at Howard Hoffman Courts Tuesday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds opened the match by winning the doubles point to take a 1-0 edge. Sophomore Gavin Labbadia and freshman Joey Kelly raced out to a 6-1 victory at second doubles while junior Ryan Burke and freshman Roman Farhad posted a 6-4 triumph at third doubles to secure the doubles point. Senior Ronny Pimentel Ferrer and junior Matthew Labosky were leading their first doubles, 5-4, when Burke and Farhad secured the doubles point so the contest was left unfinished to move onto singles action
- The Hounds captured the first three singles matches to clinch the match, and in the postseason, contests end when a decision has been reached. Labbadia recorded a 6-0, 6-2 win at third singles to make it 2-0 while Farhad had a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at fourth singles. Burke clinched the victory with a 6-4, 6-4 triumph at sixth singles
- Moravian is in its third straight trip to the Landmark Conference Tournament, and the Blue & Grey are heading to Goucher College for a Semifinal match for the second time in three years
