How It Happened
- The Greyhounds won two of three doubles contests to take a 1-0 lead with the doubles point. The Blue & Grey opened the contest with a 6-0 win at second doubles from the tandem of sophomore Jenna Gower and freshman Kaelyn Balko while junior Sydney Shifman and freshman Natalia Smith posted a 6-1 triumph at first doubles. The Mules won the third doubles match in a tiebreaker
- Smith earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory at third singles to give the Hounds a 2-0 lead while senior Izzy Szmodis recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win at second singles. Junior Leah Zolotareva registered a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at first singles to garner the winning team point and five the Blue & Grey a 4-0 advantage. Balko also won 6-0, 6-0 in her fourth singles match while freshman Madi Schottman had a 6-2, 6-0 win at sixth singles. Freshman Fraukje van Baars finished the match with a 6-0, 3-6, 1-0 (10-6) triumph at fifth singles
