Greyhounds Post Four Regional Qualifiers at Penn State Tune-Up
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s indoor track & field team posted four All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks at the Penn State University Tune-Up Friday.

Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- Junior Tara Smurla was the runner-up in the 3,000-meter run with an AARTFC qualifying and PR time of 10:14.34, the sixth fastest time in program history. Sophomore Kayla O'Neil took tenth in the race in 11:08.90.
- Freshman Emma Shafnisky finished fourth in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles with an AARTFC qualifying time of 9.32 seconds after taking seventh in the preliminaries in 9.42 seconds
- Junior Karalyn Vashey placed sixth in the 20-pound weight throw with an AARTFC qualifying distance of 15.54 meters (51-0) while senior Liz Miskovsky finished eighth at 13.57 meters (44-6.25) and senior Caillie Fish was ninth at 13.42 meters (44-0.5)
- Shafnisky also took sixth in the long jump with a leap of 5.22 meters (17-1.5)
- Junior Margie Rayne finished ninth in the shot put at a distance of 11.63 meters (38-2)
AARTFC Qualifier
- Junior Shai Knight placed 11th in the 400-meter dash with an AARTFC qualifying time of 1:00.45
