"Kara has had an outstanding start to the 2025 outdoor season. This honor is a great recognition \ of the work she's put in the first few weeks," said Throwing Coach Jonathan D'Ottavio. "Kara has been stacking some great practices the past few weeks and it's paid off with multiple PR performances already. She's a super hard worker and is always looking for extra work to be the best thrower she can be. We know that as we get towards championship time and the weather gets warmer that her distances will really take off."
Moravian is slated to return to action on Saturday, April 12 when the team competes in the DeSales University Invitational. The team will also have competitors at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday & Sunday, April 12-13.
