Top 10 Stories of 2023-24 - #10 Men’s Cross Country & Softball Earn Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year Honors

The first entry in our second countdown of the summer – the Top 10 Stories of the Year selected by the athletic administration – is our No. 10 highlight – the men’s cross country and softball programs earning Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year honors.

The men's cross country staff of Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann and assistant coaches Jon D'Ottavio and Molly Sear were honored after guiding the Greyhounds to their third straight Landmark Conference Championship on October 27 in Huntingdon. The softball staff earned its first Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year award under the direction of second-year Head Coach Josh Baltz and assistant coaches Justine Rossi, Amy Rogers, Leah Holmes, Janae Matos and Josie Novak. The staff led the Hounds to a 31-10 record this spring as the Hounds captured their second straight and 11th overall Landmark Conference title. The squad played in the NCAA Division III Tournament for the 20th time and hosted an NCAA Regional at Blue & Grey Field for the first time.
