Walter Named Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior shortstop Holly Walter from the Moravian University’s softball squad has been named the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior shortstop Holly Walter from the Moravian University's softball squad has been named the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.
Walter led No. 17 Moravian at the plate during a sweep of King's College in the only action of the week. Walter was 5-for-7 with five runs, an RBI, a double and three triples in the two games. She became the program's all-time leader in triples in a career with 16, and Walter also had three putouts and four assists in the field in seven chances.
The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Monday, April 14 when the squad heads to Wilkes University in a Landmark Conference doubleheader beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Edwardsville.
The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
