Greyhounds Open Landmark Conference Slate with Win at Wilkes

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds opened the scoring with a goal from senior midfielder Vincent Devito just 43 seconds into the match. Senior midfielder Aaron Judge followed with a goal at the 12:51 mark before the Colonels netted three goals to lead 3-2 after 15 minutes of action
- Wilkes also scored the first goal of the second quarter for a 4-2 edge before Judge and junior attack Ryan Kokoszka found the net to tie the contest at 4-4. The Colonels retook a one goal lead while Judge tallied two goals in the final 1:57 of the half to send the Hounds to the intermission with a 6-5 advantage
- Moravian scored six times in the first ten minutes of the second half to take control of the contest. Sophomore attack Nick Coffaro scored twice during the run while Judge, Kokoszka, senior midfielder Dan Kelly and sophomore midfielder Hunter Klapmuts each had one goal. The Colonels sandwiched a pair of goals around a tally from Coffaro, and senior midfielder Nick Sullivan and senior short stick defensive midfielder Aden Moskovitz added goals as the Blue & Grey led 15-7 after 45 minutes of play
- Judge began the fourth quarter with a goal just nine seconds into action, and Kokoszka added a goal. Wilkes scored twice more in the period while the Hounds had four goals with two from Judge and one each from sophomore attack Kyle Gann and sophomore midfielder Adam Twist
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian saw 13 players register a point led by Judge, who netted a career-high eight goals, tied for the second most in a match in program history, and he added three ground balls
- Coffaro recorded three goals, two assists and a pair of ground balls while Kokoszka netted three goals with two ground balls
- Gann contributed a goal and two assists while Moskovitz had a goal, an assist and six ground balls
- Twist, Sullivan, Devito, Kelly and Klapmuts all scored one goal
- Graduate student attack Trevor Dzama posted four assists and two ground balls while senior short stick defensive midfielder Kyle Weiss had a pair of assists, two caused turnovers and seven ground balls as he surpassed 100 career ground balls
- Senior midfielder Steven Salica had one assist
- Sophomore goalie Nick Crames started for Moravian and had three saves in 30 minutes of action while senior goalie Thomas Lee made three saves in the second half
- Senior face-off specialist Gannon Mesko was 24-for-32 on face-offs with five ground balls while sophomore long stick midfielder Andrew Cassese scooped up a team-high 10 ground balls
- Senior defender Jason Levy posted four ground balls and three caused turnovers while junior defender Mike Sickler had four ground balls and junior defender James Panico registered a pair of caused turnovers
- The Hounds had a 54-23 advantage in shots, a 54-29 edge in ground balls, were 24-for-34 on face-offs and 13-for-17 on clearing attempts. The Blue & Grey also went 3-for-4 on man-up opportunities
