Hounds Head to Catholic for 2025 Landmark Conference First Round Contest on April 29
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s lacrosse squad has earned the fifth seed in the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament and will travel to fourth seed The Catholic University of America for a first round match on Tuesday, April 29 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Washington, D.C.

Admission to Tuesday's match is $10 for adults and $5 for minors ages 10-17 and seniors 62 and older. Children ages nine and under are admitted free of charge, as are all Landmark Conference students, faculty and staff with their school ID. All ticketing will be done online at https://landmarkconference.org/sports/2022/4/25/championships-tickets.aspx?path=champs, and there will be no cash accepted on site.
Tenth-year Head Coach Dave Carty has led the Blue & Grey to a 9-6 record, and he has guided Moravian to its third Landmark Conference Tournament appearance since 2021. When the Greyhounds and Cardinals met earlier this season, Catholic earned an 18-6 win in Washington, D.C on April 12.
Senior midfielder Aaron Judge leads the Hounds with 44 goals, four assists, 16 ground balls and four caused turnovers while graduate student attack Trevor Dzama has contributed 18 goals, 37 assists and 18 ground balls. Dzama is the current Moravian and Landmark Conference record holder in career assists with 165, and he is the Greyhounds' all-time leading scorer with 258 points. Sophomore attack Nick Coffaro has registered 25 goals, 23 assists, 21 ground balls and five caused turnovers while senior midfielder Dan Kelly has 20 goals, 12 assists, 14 ground balls and four caused turnovers. Junior attack Ryan Kokoszka has 29 goals, three assists, 18 ground balls and three caused turnovers while senior midfielder Steven Salica has seven goals and three assists.
Senior short stick defensive midfielder Aden Moskovitz has posted six goals, four assists, 26 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers while sophomore midfielder Hunter Klapmuts and senior midfielder Nick Sullivan both have eight goals and two assists. Senior midfielder Vincent Devito has five goals and four assists while sophomore midfielder Adam Twist has netted four goals. Sophomore attack Kyle Gann has three goals and three assists while senior attack Aidan Brown has netted two goals.
Senior defender Jason Levy has two goals, an assist, 28 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers while sophomore midfielder Brady Quinn has a goal and three assists. Sophomore attack Aidan LaCorte has two goals and an assist while sophomore attack Tucker Ellis, junior short stick defensive midfielder RJ Toogood and freshman attack Killian Irish-Donini all have one goal. Freshman midfielder Robert Celona has a goal and two assists while sophomore attack Jay Ashforth has two assists.
Senior face-off specialist Gannon Mesko is 177-for-315 on face-offs with 59 ground balls and a pair of goals while sophomore long stick midfielder Andrew Cassese has 52 ground balls and four caused turnovers. Senior short stick defensive midfielder Kyle Weiss has 47 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers, a goal and six assists while freshman face-off specialist Owen Deady is 34-for-69 on face-offs with 22 ground balls while junior defender Mike Sickler has an assist, 33 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers. Junior defender James Panico has 25 ground balls and nine caused turnovers while junior defender Austin Hittle has added 16 ground balls and seven caused turnovers.
Sophomore goalie Liam Kelly has 137 saves, 33 ground balls, five caused turnovers, an 11.94 goals-against average and a 9-5 mark in 689 minutes of action while sophomore goalie Nick Crames has 10 saves and a 1-0 mark in 62 minutes. Senior goalie Thomas Lee has 15 saves in 113 minutes while senior goalie Sean Boyer has five saves in 23 minutes and freshman goalie Chris Piluso has a save in seven minutes.
The top two seeds in the Landmark Conference Tournament have earned first round byes. The winner of Tuesday's first round match between the Greyhounds and Cardinals will advance to face top seed The University of Scranton in a semifinal match on Thursday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday's other first round match is between third seed Drew University and sixth seed Susquehanna University with the winner then facing off with second seed Elizabethtown College in a semifinal on May 1. The top remaining seed will host the 2025 Landmark Conference Championship match on Saturday, May 3 to determine the conference's automatic berth to the 2025 NCAA Division III Tournament.
