Six Hounds Named to 2025 Landmark Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference Teams
TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian University men’s lacrosse team has had six student-athletes named to the 2025 Landmark Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference teams with senior midfielder Aaron Judge and senior short stick defensive midfielder Aden Moskovitz being selected to the First Team, senior defender Jason Levy honored on the Second Team, and graduate student attack Trevor Dzama, senior face-off specialist Gannon Mesko and sophomore long stick midfielder Andrew Cassese named to the Honorable Mention squad.
TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian University men's lacrosse team has had six student-athletes named to the 2025 Landmark Men's Lacrosse All-Conference teams with senior midfielder Aaron Judge and senior short stick defensive midfielder Aden Moskovitz being selected to the First Team, senior defender Jason Levy honored on the Second Team, and graduate student attack Trevor Dzama, senior face-off specialist Gannon Mesko and sophomore long stick midfielder Andrew Cassese named to the Honorable Mention squad.
The Greyhounds made the program's third Landmark Conference Tournament appearance, falling to fourth seed The Catholic University of America, 12-9, Tuesday night in the First Round. Head Coach Dave Carty led the Blue & Grey to a 9-7 mark this spring in his tenth season at Moravian with a 5-4 record in Landmark Conference action.
Judge, who earned All-Conference honors for the third time in his career after being on the First Team a year ago and the Second Team in 2023, led the Greyhounds with a school record 48 goals this season, and he added four assists, 18 ground balls and four caused turnovers. In his career, Judge scored 130 goals, which is third in program history, and added 17 assists for 147 points, sixth all-time, to go along with 84 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers in 62 matches.
"He's been an incredible midfielder for us for his four years," stated Carty. "He's been a great goal scorer and a physical force on the offensive side of the field."
Moskovitz, who made the All-Conference Second Team last season, recorded seven goals, five assists, 27 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers this season. Moskovitz had 113 ground balls, 56 caused turnovers, 13 goals and 13 assists in 61 career contests.
"Aden's an incredible player and has developed into one of the best SSDM's in the league," Carty said. "His impact on our program has been incredible, he's been the selfless heart of our team for the last four years."
Levy, who repeated as an All-Conference Second Team honoree, scooped up 32 ground balls for the Hounds this spring to go with 24 caused turnovers, two goals and an assist. Levy completes his career having registered 142 ground balls, 74 caused turnovers, three goals and two assists in 61 matches.
"Jason is such a solid defenseman, he's smart, physical and has led the defense the last two years," noted Carty.
Dzama, who was selected to the All-Conference Second Team in 2024, led the Hounds this spring in scoring with 58 points on 18 goals and 40 assists to go with 18 ground balls. Dzama completes his five seasons as the Greyhounds' all-time leading scorer with 261 points on 93 goals and a school and Landmark Conference record 168 assists. He also had 87 ground balls in 69 career matches.
"It's great to see Trevor recognized as one of the best attackmen in the league," exclaimed Carty. "He's set several team records for us including 168 assists and 261 points, and he's been a great leader off the field. He's got incredible vision with the ball and makes things happen with his ability to see the open player."
Mesko, who was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention squad for the second straight year, was 177-of-318 on face-offs to go with 59 ground balls, two goals and seven caused turnovers in 2025. Mesko, who broke the single season record with 224 face-off victories in 2024, finished his career as the school record 639 face-off wins. Mesko was 639-of-1,146 to go with 245 ground balls, third all-time, 12 caused turnovers, four goals and an assist.
"Gannon is such a hard-working player and really earned this award through his hard work and constant attention to his craft," Carty stated. "Off the field, he's really been our unsung hero, inspiring our guys in the weight room."
Cassese recorded 58 ground balls and four caused turnovers in 2025. In two seasons, Cassese has 69 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers in 33 matches.
"Andrew was new to our starting line-up and really made an impact immediately," said Carty. "He's great off the wings and has a motor that is constantly going."
