Salvatore & Dippel Selected as Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Offensive & Defensive Athletes of the Week
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior attack Jackie Salvatore and senior midfielder Madi Dippel have been selected as the Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week for their performances last week.

The duo helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 week including a win over Wilkes University to begin the 2025 Landmark Conference season. The Hounds allowed just five goals in the two contests, and in the 26-2 victory versus Wilkes, Moravian set program records for goals with 26, assists with 19 and draw controls with 28, and Moravian set new Landmark Conference records with 19 assists and 45 points while tying the mark for goals with 26 in conference-only action. Salvatore tied the conference-only mark with her 10 assists.
Salvatore led the Blue & Grey with 21 points on three goals and 18 assists to go with 19 draw controls and five ground balls. Salvatore began the week with ten points on two goals and eight assists to go with six draw controls and three ground balls in a 15-3 victory over Misericordia University. The ten points pushed Salvatore over 300 career points as she became the second player in program history and fifth in Landmark Conference history to reach the milestone. She then had a goal, a school record 10 assists, a career-best 13 draw controls and two ground balls in the victory versus Wilkes. During the contest, Salvatore broke the Moravian and Landmark Conference records in career assists, now with 163.
"Jackie earns every point she puts on the board, she is constantly grinding, directing, and working to set up her teammates," stated Head Coach Caroline Pape. "She has brilliant vision, IQ and athleticism that make her unstoppable."
Dippel recorded eight ground balls and three caused turnovers to go with three goals, an assist and two draw controls during the week. Dippel had a goal, an assist, two ground balls and two draw controls versus Misericordia, and she then had three goals, six ground balls and three caused turnovers against Wilkes.
"Madi is gritty go to player, she is relentless," Pape said. "Whether her need the ball back, a draw or a goal, Madi gives her fullest effort to increase our pace of play and set up herself and teammates for success."
Moravian is to return to action on Wednesday, March 26 when the squad hosts Arcadia University in a non-conference contest beginning at 4:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
