BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College is continuing its look back at its 2019-20 athletic campaign. The next event in the Top 10 Exciting Games from the past year is our No. 8 highlight – the men's basketball team outscoring host Elizabethtown College, 21-3, in overtime to post a 90-72 victory to begin the 2019-20 Landmark Conference season.
The Greyhounds would finish the 2019-20 campaign with a 14-12 mark as the squad made the Landmark Conference Tournament for the fourth straight winter.
On December 7, Moravian headed out to Elizabethtown for the first conference game of the year. The Blue and Grey raced out to an early lead and would head to the locker room with a 43-27 advantage. However, the second half would be the opposite the Blue Jays coming back to tie the contest at 69-69.
Overtime would belong to the Hounds with junior guard Keith Otto scoring 14 seconds into the extra session to start a 9-0 run. The Greyhounds iced the victory from the foul line in overtime with Otto going 5-for-5, senior forward Addis Ralph making all four of his foul shots and junior guard Matt O'Connor going 3-for-4 at the charity stripe.
Otto finished the game with a career-high 23 points, and he was one of six Moravian players to score in double figures in the contest.
